Horrible experience with this company!! I literally went into their facility with my car running perfectly fine. I wanted to get my AC checked out because it wasn’t cooling properly but then an hour of me leaving the property after they did some work to my vehicle. I immediately started losing coolant and my car was overheating. I went back to The Mechanic to have them tell me what was done incorrectly, and they refuse to even look at the vehicle I would not recommend this company to anyone for any type of repairs or tire change.

On 3/30/2026, I paid $187 to have a VVT solenoid I purchased separately installed at J Mobil. On 5/30/2026, I paid the same company $240 for a MAF sensor, air filter, and four spark plugs plus $300 for labor. I had to come back after being on the road for less than 30 minutes because the check engine light turned back on. The mechanic who had replaced the spark plugs told me he had just forgotten to clear the code but that the car was fine. Yesterday I took my car in after the oil light started flickering. An employee from the shop called me two hours later to let me know I needed an oil change and to replace the VVT solenoid. I agreed to the oil change but asked for the error code since I thought it was weird that the VVT solenoid had to be replaced again so soon. He back peddled and said that the timing chain might be the issue but would call me back once he was sure. I got a call this morning telling me the oil had been changed but that the VVT solenoid still needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the receipt showing it had already been swapped out two months prior. Hence why I’m attaching the screenshot of my bank statement. But I did show him the VVT solenoid I ha

Super happy with the service here! The people were super nice and helpful. It was easy and quick service. They made sure I understood what my car needed and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for reliable tire service.

Had a flat tire and came in about an hour before closing—was immediately impressed. The place was spotless, the team was professional and welcoming. They took the time to show me exactly where the issue was, explained my options clearly, and handled everything with great attention to detail. Respectful, attentive, and efficient. Highly recommend this shop if you want honest service and a clean, professional environment.
